What I think about Gore say about the Xenon 2.0 Lady cycling jersey

A snug fit (I am usually a 10 but the M fits me neatly), the jersey feels like a second skin. This is great if you like your cycling clothing to feel “not-there”. The material is quite see-through so I wore a sports top underneath.

The fabric feels silky light and there are no rub areas. I like the attention to detail around the zip. If you’re wearing this top against the skin – or part skin – there is no worry about the cold and irritating zip coming into contact with your skin. The back zip flap and zip port protect your skin nicely.

The mesh back offers excellent breathability and on a summer cycle tour in Europe this is the perfect jersey to wear. I think I’d pop sun lotion on my back just to be sure to avoid sunburn.

The reflective detailing is superb. Being seen is so important when on a bike and to have so much reflective detailing is very thoughtful. The reflective pattern is pretty and only adds to the great looks of this top. When I tested the top I had a great many positive remarks form both men and women cyclists!

Three roomy pockets at the back give excellent storage potential and the extra zipped pocket-on-a-pocket is a superb detail. This would be the perfect place to safely stow your keys or money.

Additional features that I like are the stay-put waistband grippers and the oh-so-soft short arm cuffs. The top moves with you when riding a bike, which is important because bike tops that reveal gaping backs etc are annying. This is a cycle jersey to wear and feel ultra comfy.

The only things I’m not so keen on are the see-through-ish fabric and the price. Almost £90 is a lot to spend on a jersey but as I’ve found before, Gore cycle products do last a very long time so I expect this would make a great investment.
