Mammut UK is pleased to announce that Jérémie Heitz – Mammut Pro Team Freerider – and Dani Arnold Pro Team Alpine climber – are confirmed for this year’s Kendal Mountain Film Festival [16th – 19th November].

Jérémie Heitz – at 28 years, Swiss-born Jérémie Heitz is known as the world’s Steepest Skier and made national headlines last year when he scaled and descended 15 of the world’s steepest peaks. Captured in the movie project La Liste, the freerider is shown climbing up the steep, 4,000 metre slopes equipped with crampons and ice axes and riding back down at full speed in minutes. Heitz caught the ski bug from a young age, tackling his first run at the age of two.  see him in action in “La Liste”.

Dani Arnold – 33 year-old Dani Arnold grew up in the mountains and holds his cable car school run as the catalyst for his fascination for the mountains. Today Arnold – who is on the Mammut Pro Alpine team - pursues a career in speed climbing which includes feats such as climbing solo up the legendary north face of the Matterhorn without any protection in an incredible 1 hour and 46 minutes. Arnold is a fan of the Scottish mountains and last year came to the UK to make a second ascent of a bold Scottish winter climb: Anubis XII on Ben Nevis.
