Berghaus has launched a new collection of waterproof and insulated ski clothing, combining the latest in outdoor materials innovation with contemporary design and features.  The Frendo range of jackets and pants has been extensively tested by athletes Ross Hewitt and Michelle Blaydon and is available now.
The men’s and women’s Frendo Insulated jackets sit at the top of the range.  Protection from the elements is provided by the 2L GORE-TEX® fabric with a tough ripstop face.  Insulation comes in the form of Berghaus’ cutting edge Hydroloft™ Elite Pro, which, thanks to great breathability, provides extended warmth even when the wearer is working hard.  The synthetic Hydroloft™ has been body-mapped to deliver insulation where it is needed most, with different configurations in the men’s and women’s jackets.

The piece was about using eMTBs to access the steep skiing at the end of long corries in Scotland, the added power of the bikes negating the more inefficient standard issue mountain bike or a long walk.
