New format sees Buxton Adventure Festival go monthly. Featured

On Saturday 7th November Kenton Cool, who has climbed Everest 11 times, will be the first headline speaker as Buxton Adventure Festival takes an exciting new direction.  Previously held over a single weekend the festival is now switching to a new format of 10 mini-festivals, one a month with a July and December break, throughout 2015/16

Kenton will share his latest expedition attempting a new line to the summit of Indian giant Nanda Devi East. Joining Kenton as support speaker will be Heather Geluk, a Canadian climber and adventurer whose mountaineering achievements include many of the Himalayan giants. The evening is supported by Sherpa Adventure Gear. 

The second event will take place on 21st January 2016, featuring adventurer Alastair Humphreys whose achievements include cycling around the world, walking across India and rowing the Atlantic.
Further speakers include: Catherine Destivelle (Feb 24th), Andy Kirkpatrick (Mar 23rd) and Finlay Wild (Apr 12th). Tickets will go on sale soon.
