The winners and runners-up of the 2018 Kendal Mountain Festival, presented by Osprey and supported by the University of Cumbria have today been revealed.
BBC Breakfast's intrepid sports reporter Mike Bushell, known for his hands-on ventures into all manner of sports, joined the programming team behind Kendal Mountain Festival's popular Petzl Underground session to shine a spotlight on the subterranean world of caving.
Kendal Mountain Festival is fast approaching. From the 15 - 18 November, athletes, adventurers and explorers from across the globe will descend on the Lake District town to share their tales of adventure through a packed programme of talks, films and special events for every age.
Berghaus is preparing for a busy few days at this year’s Kendal Mountain Festival. As one of the event’s sponsors, the company has lined up a variety of events and attractions, designed to appeal to the thousands of visitors who will head for Kendal from 15-18 November.
