Boardman Tasker Night comes to Buxton on 11th October

The LowePro Buxton Adventure Festival returns on 11th October with a special evening celebrating the lives and achievements of two of Britain’s finest mountaineers.
WINTER and big wall climber Andy Kirkpatrick will bring his own brand of comedic storytelling to the Buxton Adventure Festival on 18th May 2016.
On Saturday 7th November Kenton Cool, who has climbed Everest 11 times, will be the first headline speaker as Buxton Adventure Festival takes an exciting new direction.  Previously held over a single weekend the festival is now switching to a new format of 10 mini-festivals, one a month with a July and December break, throughout 2015/16
Everest mountaineer Kenton Cool will be trekking to Buxton for his latest expedition – delivering the inaugural lecture at the new format Buxton Adventure Festival. The 11 times Everest summiteer will be the first headline speaker as the festival, now in its fourth year, takes an exciting new direction.
