Plymouth gains new world-class bouldering wall

The Climbing Hangar will open the doors to its biggest bouldering wall yet in Plymouth on Saturday 24th February.

News has just arrived that Leo Houlding, Jean Burgun and Mark Sedon have successfully climbed the Spectre in the Gothic Mountains, Antarctica.

inov-8 is launching a revolutionary world-first in the sports footwear market following a unique collaboration with scientific experts.

Every four years we turn on our televisions and watch incredibly dedicated athletes doing amazing things at the Olympics, then they vanish from our radar of another four years. Meanwhile they train, train some more, and train and race more again, all so they can qualify for the next Olympics. Meanwhile ‘mainstream’ sports soak up endless hours of TV time.

Leo Houlding, Jean Burgun and Mark Sedon have completed the latest stage of their expedition in Antarctica.  They have now reached the Organ Pipe Peaks and are close to their main objective, the Spectre.

With an innovative new synthetic fill from Primaloft we wanted to see how it compares to traditional down from a windswept Kinder plateau to handling a short, but heavy, downpour.

Rab Alpha Flux 3 month test and review

We put Rab's Alpha Flux jacket through 3 months of extensive testing; wearing it for more than 40 days as we threw it at everything from summer walking in the Peak District to downhill singletracks in Switzerland. They say a jack of all trades is master of none. After a serious testing we feel Rab may have proved the exception to this rule with the Alpha Flux.

Film Review: Magnetic Mountains

The story of a climber who takes a big fall in the Alps and his fight to return to the climb that almost killed him it said. Oh Great, you think; another wannabe Joe Simpson, just what we need. Believe me you couldn't be any more wrong if that's what you think.
