Arc’teryx Alpine Academy will elevate the mountain experience for all adventurers, regardless of ability.
The Arc’teryx Alpine Academy – the world’s biggest educational event for mountain enthusiasts – will reach new heights when it takes place from 30 June to 3 July 2022.
Over the course of four days, this much celebrated event will bring the alpine community together in Chamonix where they’ll be able to enhance and elevate their mountain skills, get inspired and connect with like-minded people.
This 11th edition will feature a series of intimate in-person clinics on the stunning Mont Blanc massif and around the Chamonix Valley, including selected highlight clinics with some of the world's top mountain athletes.
This year’s Arc’teryx Alpine Academy will also be cranking up the volume with a unique line-up of music. Stay tuned for more on this addition to the Academy as artists are unveiled in the coming weeks and months.
The Academy will be open to the public, too, with a range of free events and activities for all locals and visitors in the Chamonix area. With a prime spot in the Alpine Village at Place du Triangle de l'Amitié, right in the heart of Chamonix, guests can try mastering the bouldering wall, enjoy live music performances and chill out in the pop-up bar and lounge. Visitors will also be treated to film premieres, guest speakers and live DJ sets on our elevated stage.
For those who want to get more involved, the Alpine Academy will give guests a rare opportunity to peek behind the curtain as we show them what goes into creating Arc’teryx products, from R&D and manufacturing to testing and how some products are given a new lease of life. Visitors to our Gear Library can also borrow Arc’teryx kit and test it for themselves in a ruggedly beautiful setting.
“The Alpine Academy has already become a core date on the Alpine calendar, but rather than rest on our successes, this year we’re definitely taking it to new heights! We have a fully stacked clinic program to cater for all levels and budgets, and an awesome Alpine Village offering, which is free for all visitors to attend. But this year I’m particularly stoked about the unique music experience we’re adding as we evolve the event into a true mountain culture festival. My message is simple: be there!” says Max Müller, EMEA Sports Marketing Manager at Arc’teryx.
