The kettle is a self-sufficient outdoor stove for any camp kitchen, ideal for preparing tea and coffee, and for warming up other cookware while preparing a meal.

The Petromax Stainless-Steel Fire Kettle comes with a small compatible fire bowl with feet, that creates a solid stand. Using small branches, twigs or fir cones for fuel, heat rises from the fire bowl through the inside cavity. Due to the resulting chimney effect, the water inside the double-wall warms up in a few minutes, and a steam whistle sounds as soon as it has reached boiling point. The kettle has a silicone handle, so can easily and safely be removed from the heat source.

The kettle can also be used to warm up cookware. A cooking device provided with it fits into the top of the kettle, to create a platform for small pots and pans. The heat that escapes from the top opening can be used to heat up small meals. When not in use, the fire bowl and feet fit neatly inside the base of the kettle for storage and transport. An additional screw-on lid also means that the kettle can be filled with water for transport to and from a campsite.
