The Helinox x Finisterre Chair One combines proprietary technology and recycled material to deliver a lightweight and durable camping chair. The collaboration is driven by a shared appreciation of sitting and watching the natural world go by, and the desire to create long-lasting, sustainable outdoor products from exceptional materials.
Founded in South Korea 10 years ago, Helinox revolutionised the outdoor furniture category when it launched the iconic Chair One. The brand now incorporates parent company DAC’s green anodization technology in the aluminium frame of many of its products. Finisterre designs functional and sustainable outdoor apparel for those who share a love of the sea, and sourced a 100% seat fabric for the new chair, in the brand’s classic blue and orange colourway.
Andrew Shand, CEO of Helinox Europe comments: “Collaborating with Finisterre on this project has been really exciting. Their wealth of experience in working with recycled fabrics meant we were able to combine our world-leading green anodized aluminium with a 100% recycled content fabric for the first time. It sets a new standard for Helinox, and we’re already working on integrating what we have learnt from this collaboration into other lines.”
The Helinox x Finisterre Chair One retails at £120 and comes with a five-year warranty. It has the same dimensions and features as the standard Chair One and also weighs only 890g (960g in its bag). The chair is available at www.finisterre.com, https://helinox.eu/collections/finisterre-x-helinox and from selected specialist retailers.
