A 10mm last drop between heel and forefoot further promotes forward momentum in your gait, whilst aiding stability and preventing the wearer from rocking backward. With a progressive design and KEEN’s iconic comfort fit, the WK400 is equipped with an engineered performance mesh upper with TPU overlays for durability and distinctive offset lacing to relieve pressure across the top of the foot. A high rebound EVA midsole is light underfoot, delivering superb energy return to carry you effortlessly on your walking adventures, with KEEN’s Eco Anti Odor treatment ensuring feet stay smelling sweet without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides.  Designed with a wide outsole platform to optimise stability, a high traction rubber outsole with multi-directional lugs ensures optimum traction when traversing tracks and trails, or paths and pavements.

Designed to be comfortable from the first step with a padded tongue and collar, a contoured fit hugs and secures your foot, while giving plenty of room for toes to splay and move through the unique rolling sensation of the WK400.   A  contrast two finger webbing loop on the heel provides easy on and off, allowing you additional leverage to pull on and go when you are on the hoof.

For AW23, the original WK400 shoe is joined by a new premium Leather edition (£145) in men and women’s specific fits, consciously constructed in premium nubuck leather. As with all other leather products in the KEEN family, this is sourced from LWG-certified tanneries operating on a closed loop basis to reduce water and energy usage, an industry gold standard that completely eliminates waste water. The upper has been further treated with a PFC-free durable water repellent that is safe, effective at repelling water and dirt and non-toxic, so further protecting the planets’ sensitive ecosystems.
