New for this year is the Petromax Camping Oven, designed to work with different heat sources to cook food, ranging from casseroles to breakfast spreads. The oven can also be combined with the new Petromax Baking Tray to bake pizzas, or to warm up bread and crisp up other items.

The Petromax Camping Oven is made out of stainless steel and its 41cm diameter and generous depth offer plenty of room for ingredients, while being compatible with a wide range of heat sources, such as gas and electric stoves, van hotplates, fire/barbeque embers (with the brand’s cooking stand), and products such as the Petromax Atago Stove.

Heat is conveyed from the base into the central opening in the ring mould and distributed evenly around the oven, with ventilation openings, an outer coating and lid helping to achieve effective cooking results. Two side handles are useful for moving the oven easily and serving dishes. The Petromax Camping Oven has a capacity of two litres and weighs 1.64kg. It retails at £74.95.

Designed to accompany the oven, the Petromax Baking Tray adds even more options to the outdoor cooking experience. Placed on top of the camping oven’s base, the round tray is ideal for baking a pizza, warming up bread rolls, or creating crispy nachos, all while other ingredients cook in the space below.

Like the main oven, the stainless steel tray has two handles so it can be easily added or removed, and to serve the prepared food. The Petromax Baking Tray weighs 670g and retails at £25.95.
