Stepping forward for SS25, the all-new Leiki collection for women, proudly showcases this expertise – a definitive range of stylish yet athletic hikers and sandals designed to support women’s individual biomechanics and favourite activities as they move from  city to trail, through to beach and boardwalk.

First developed for the Terradora collection in 2017, and later used in Astoria West sandals, KEEN’s women’s-specific fit is made for a woman’s foot and biomechanics. It involves using a more slender last shape, and fine-tuning the underfoot cushioning and support for anatomical and biomechanical differences (women’s feet, for example, tend to have higher arches and increased pronation.) Leiki is built to support her with an intentional fit—and an intentional name. Leiki means “play” in Old Norse, which is the foundation for today’s Scandinavian languages. Outside is her happy place, where she reconnects with herself, nature, and the people she cares about. Thanks to the lightweight, high-rebound cushioning, adventurers can focus on unplugging and recharging without thinking about what’s on their feet. The Leiki hiker (Mid WP £155, low WP £125 and non WP Leiki Speed, £120) is all about traversing different terrain and activities. To comfortably go from dirt trails to city tarmac. A KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN rubber outsole gives steadfast grip on the trail, but has been made smooth enough to handle in-town treks, too.
