BUFF®, the leader in multifunctional neck and headwear, is marking this year’s Earth Day with a transformative tree-planting initiative - bringing together sixty employees in a shared commitment to sustainability and ecological restoration.
Held in Castell de Queralt (Bellprat), a region affected by forest fires and deforestation, the event saw participants plant 240 fruit trees, creating the BUFF® Fruit Trees Forest - a contribution to local biodiversity and carbon offsetting. The day also focused on
biomass clean-up, manually clearing organic material to reduce the risk of future
wildfires.
The hands-on reforestation activity also served as a powerful team-building experience, uniting people through purpose and nature. This initiative reflects BUFF®’s holistic approach to sustainability, encompassing responsible manufacturing, circular product design, and minimising ecological impact at every stage of production.
As part of BUFF®’s long-standing partnership with 1% for the Planet, this initiative underscores the brand’s promise to donate a portion of CoolNet UV® sales to environmental causes - demonstrating meaningful action beyond words. This Earth Day initiative is yet another example of how BUFF® lives its values - protecting the environments that inspire adventure and helping nature thrive for generations to come.
