Rab and the Jonathan Conville Memorial Trust announce new partnership

Outdoor brand Rab (owned by ) has announced a new partnership with the a UK-based charity existing for over 40 years.

The JCMT introduces young people to climbing and mountaineering, training them in the skills and techniques required to safely advance to Alpine or Scottish winter environments. This partnership, built on the shared aim of making mountains more accessible to the younger generation, will commence with the 2025 JCMT courses.

Neil McAdie, Chair of Trustees at the JCMT, welcomed the collaboration: “The JCMT is delighted to have the backing of such a respected UK outdoor brand. Both Rab and the JCMT work to equip enthusiasts for the mountains, so in many ways this is a natural partnership. Rab’s support means that we can continue to offer young people the essential grounding in mountain safety that leads to a lifetime of enjoyment.”

As the official clothing and equipment partner, Rab will support JCMT with appropriate kit for course delegates, pre-event course preparation, product education through webinars and increasing the accessibility of the brilliant courses hosted by the JCMT.
