The collaboration marks a key milestone in championing environmentally responsible innovation within the textile and fashion industries.
Joined by a commitment to sustainability, Ventile and Cévène have come together to showcase their shared mission: to design, produce, and distribute a wardrobe that has the lowest possible impact on the planet, both today and for generations to come. Through the partnership, the brands aim to set a new standard for responsible production and conscious consumption.
The opening collection includes the Ventile Hooded Travel Jacket 360, a year-round hooded jacket engineered to be worn as a summer outer layer or as a winter middle layer and crafted from Ventile organic. This sits alongside the Waterproof Ventile Windbreaker 200, a breathable rainproof jacket also built from Ventile organic, with double-layer reinforcement at chest and shoulders.
On the partnership, Ventile Brand Director, Daniel Odermatt said: “We are thrilled to support the team at Cévène on the launch of their new brand. Their philosophy is rooted in the Seven Generations Principle, which considers the impact over the next 140 years, spanning seven future generations. That’s something that deeply resonates with what we do at Ventile, meeting the needs of the present without compromising future generations.”
Cévène is 100% plastic-free, sitting among the 0.1% of brands that use zero plastic and exclusively 100% single-material fabrics. Its collections are built on six core principles that redefine sustainable fashion, including the use of only natural fibres, uncompromising eco-design, no hazardous blends, fully biodegradable materials, and a reduced environmental footprint, among some of them.
Co-Founder of Cévène, Renaud Martel, said: “Fashion and textile fairs often showcase the industry's rich traditions, but they also highlight the need for innovation, especially in addressing pressing environmental challenges. We're excited to contribute to this evolving landscape.
“Through our commitment to sustainable, biodegradable materials and eco-conscious practices, we aim to demonstrate that fashion can seamlessly blend beauty, functionality, and environmental responsibility.”
