Alpine French School launches adult intensive courses for the summer season

Written by

Alpine French School, the British-French owned and operated language centre in Morzine, has launched intensive adult French courses that are tailored towards people looking to combine a learning experience with an active outdoor mountain holiday in the Alps.

The courses run throughout July and August from Monday to Friday, 9am to 12 midday. The classes have a maximum of 8 adult students from all ages and nationalities. The school’s teaching methods are unique, focusing mainly on communication and conversational skills so pupils can practise grammar and vocabulary learnt on the spot.

Students can book the five day course or extend their stays for longer periods if required.

Junior Day Camps

For adults with families wishing to participate in the intensive French courses, there’s also the chance for their children to join the Junior Day Camps.

The camps are suitable for children aged 5-17 that wish to learn French and do fun activities at the same time. Juniors do 3 hours of French lessons (with a 30 minute break) from 9am-12pm, which are all fun and educational. During the afternoon, children will take part in either Adventure Activities (5-11 years old) or Adventure PLUS activities (12-17 years old). The day ends at 5pm.

Prices: Day Camp Adventure Course (5-11yrs) = 550€ (3 hours French lessons + afternoon activities) 9am - 5pm. Day Camp Adventure Plus Course (12-17yrs) = 660€ (3 hours French lessons + afternoon activities) 9am - 5pm

Dates from 11th July to 21st August, 2022; camps run Monday to Friday
