In good conditions the 7000W burner, with a wide spread, can boil a litre of water in around two and a half minutes and while this increases to 5:38 in a 7mph wind it's still noyiceably faster than some of its competitors. The simple flame adjuster worked well, giving good simmer control and making it a simple stove to use. At 153g it's not going to win any lightweight awards, with stoves less than half the weight available, but the extra size and weight aren't as much of an issue if you're car camping and the extra stability of a fourth arm makes a difference. If piezo ignition is more important than an extra 80g the Coleman F1 is reliable, surprisingly stable (for a canister top stove) and affordable choice. If weight is an issue then there are other options in the Coleman F1 range without the piezo or other makes that utilize titanium to keep the weight down.
