This summer MyOutdoors is teaming up with outdoor gear specialists Terra Nova Equipment (who bring you Terra Nova and Wild Country Tents) to encourage you to share the ‘View from my Tent’ on social media.

Whether you’re in the UK or further afield, we want to see your vista to showcase the unique scenery that only campers and adventurers get to experience.

And as an incentive, it’s competitive, and a prize worth winning too. The best picture, as judged by My Outdoors and Terra Nova, posted on social media between August 1st and September 9th, 2016 wins a cutting edge Terra Nova Southern Cross 2 tent.

The Southern Cross is designed for four season backpacking, the one-person model won the Outdoor Industry Association best tent award this year. It is a completely free standing lightweight tent and the two-person version has two doors and two porches, so it doesn’t skimp on space. It retails at £490.

How to enter: All you have to do is take a picture (at any time of day) of the view from your tent and upload it to either Twitter or Facebook.

Rules: There is no limit on the number of times you can enter – a picture a day to chronicle your outdoor adventures is welcomed.

Pictures must be your own. Copyright remains with you. By entering the competition you give permission for Terra Nova Equipment to use your photos for marketing purposes.

The winner will be chosen by My Outdoors and Terra Nova Equipment after the closing date. No correspondence will be entered into. Their decision is final. No cash alternatives to the prize.

The winner will be notified by social media and it will also be announced on MyOutdoors.co.uk and Terra Nova Equipment’s website.
