Access Backcountry
Lighter than mountaineering tents and providing more protection and warmth than backpacking tents, the Access Backcountry Series of one, two and three-person tents provides a high-level of livability in a lightweight package designed for skiers, split-boarders and anyone else travelling long distances in winter conditions. The only tent series of its kind on the market, the Access series of tents is engineered with an easy-to-assemble frame design and durable fabrics that stand strong in cold, snowy and windy conditions. A large vestibule protects gear, freeing up more space on the inside. Two doors come standard on the two- and three-person models, making middle-of-the-night pee breaks that much easier.
Remote Mountaineering Series
The Remote two- and three-person tents were built with livability and weather protection in mind, protecting mountaineers in extreme conditions, whether tackling a multi-day or multi-week trips in the mountains. Designed for amateur and experienced users alike tackling big objectives like Mt. Denali and Mt. Rainier, the Remote tents come with strong, flexible Easton® Syclone™ poles designed to withstand extreme weather without deforming. Atypical for lightweight mountaineering tents, the unique central support frame stands up to extremely high winds and pressure from snow loading, providing a safe and comfortable space to wait out a storm or get ready for your alpine start. Extra space is allotted for bulky mountaineering gear, and two large doors allow for easy entry and exit.
Advanced Pro
Part of the Pro Mountaineering Series, the Advance Pro™ 2 tent supports first ascents and multi-day summit approaches. Its convenient setup system and small footprint differentiate the Advance Pro 2 from other tents of its kind. One person can set up the entire tent without taking a single step – a crucial detail when pitching on a high-consequence ledge. The Advance Pro 2 comes with Easton Syclone Poles, made with a flexible, nearly indestructible advanced composite material used exclusively on MSR four-season tents. The tent’s welded guy-outs and a newly engineered hub construction ensure protection and durability in the worst conditions.
