Snugpak UK Made Face Covers Now Available

Written by

Snugpak, the UK's leading manufacturers of sleeping bags, travel and outdoor products has launched a collection of UK made Face Coverings which are available to purchase now.

Adult and Junior sizes available in a selection of colours

Snugpak has its own manufacturing facilities in Yorkshire and wanted to contribute their expertise to fight COVID-19. The company started to produce face coverings and scrubs for local care homes and demand for these products soon spread.

Following the Government's announcement that Face Coverings will be compulsory to be worn when travelling on all public transport from the 15th June, when non-essential retail businesses will reopened, Snugpak's Face Cover is a comfortable and environmentally friendly way to comply with these guidelines.

Whilst the factory has now re-opened and is busy getting the standard range of products ready for stores re-opening, these Face Covers are being manufactured by experienced staff who cannot get to the factory but have access to sewing machines at home.

The Adult and Junior size Face Covers are made from the same high quality 100% breathable Paratex Nylon fabric that Snugpak uses in its top of the range sleeping bags and clothing and it is washable and reusable. These covers are available in a selection of six colours for adults and three for juniors with or without the Snugpak logo.

In some circumstances - they might help stop the spread of coronavirus by people who are contagious but have no symptoms (known as asymptomatic transmission). Government advice is that while face coverings should be worn, surgical masks or respirators should be left for healthcare staff and other workers who need them.
