The brand is delighted to present a broad programme of sessions that will advocate for enhanced entry, access and enjoyment of the outdoors, festival goers will also have the opportunity to learn more about the brand’s iconic Extrem range, returning to the peaks for AW22.

An Extrem product showcase is the central fixture on the brand’s Basecamp stand - the most visual and interactive Berghaus stand to date. Mannequins and signage exhibiting the latest garment technologies and design techniques which feature across the Extrem collection.

Further stand features also include a bespoke archive wall that will put rare apparel and equipment pieces on public display, alongside an Extrem photo booth that will place you (virtually) on some of the UK’s most iconic mountain landscapes. Details of a free “happy hour”, where you can join the brand for a well-earned drink, will also be posted on the stand’s noticeboard upon basecamp opening.

Further highlights over the weekend encompass ticketed speaker sessions led by brand ambassadors Leo Houlding and Ed Jackson. Alongside two free-to-attend speaker sessions on the festival basecamp stages from fellow ambassadors Anna Taylor and Adam Raja.

Adam’s ‘Access’ session acting as a launch event for a short film about his rocky journey from the streets of Glasgow into the mountains - the full film available to watch via a dedicated screen on the brand’s basecamp stand. The first of three inspiring stories being shared by Berghaus this winter that document contrasting stories of access and diversity in the outdoors.

To complete Berghaus’ presence  at this year's festival the brand is also proudly supporting a pioneering film session making its debut at this years’ event entitled  “Access the Best of Kendal”.  Providing people with disabilities equal access to inspiring outdoors content via open captions, audio description and British Sign Language (BSL) translation for some films.
