The two tents have real liveable room inside, enough room for two or three 50 cm wide sleeping mats to lay along side one another, ample head room and real life porch space. The Ordos and Jaran are lightweight backpacking tents - suited to long distance trekking, bike touring or on worldwide adventures where weight and pack size are more important than extreme weather durability.

The lightest tent available is the 1.2 kg  Ordos 2, with one entrance and a more tapered design, this tent is for two travelling friends that really want to cut down on weight.  An asymmetric one entrance 2-3 season free standing tent. Ultralight design with weight and pack size in mind; you can still fit two full grown adults, two full length sleeping mats inside and won’t feel like you are crammed in. At 1.2 kg and 1.5 kg respectively  for the 2 and 3 man versions these are ultra lightweight and ideal for long distance trekking, bike touring or a small lightweight adventure where space is at a premium

For only 700 g more the Jaran 2 has two entrances, bringing more porch space and consistent headroom inside; a liveable space for two over a long period.  The Jaran is an ultra-versatile lightweight backpacking tent for two to three users, at 1.9 kg and 2.1 kg the range is light enough to carry for a long period of time and has plenty of liveable space with two entrances, porches and extended head room with a DAC spreader bar. With interconnected poles, a quick inner first pitch with a throw over and clip down flysheet, mesh walls and a bathtub floor; the Jaran punches above it’s lightweight competition and is a truly spacious tent with 2-3 season capability.
