The mesh inner makes the tent ideal for warm weather with ventilation being no problem at all, although the orange colour does tend to build up heat during the day. The side vestibule gives adequate space for rucksack, boots and cooking when essential and the pole system really does give enough height to sit up in.
It's not the lightest one man tent, and the mesh inner really restricts it to three season use, but the Eos 1P can be used with just the fly and optional footprint to reduce the weight and give a quick and sturdy option for travelling fast and light. The fly naturally sits slightly above ground level allowing ventilation and could easily be used in combination with a bivvy bag as an alternative to a tarp.
