Even on a first pitch without instructions the EOS 350 pitches in 5 minutes thanks to its colour coded poles and built in tension band system. Pitching outer first means you can get under cover quickly, and with the porch area taking up half the available space there's plenty of room to get your kit out of the rain while setting up the bedroom at the opposite end. Twp large windows in the porch also provide plenty of light and an airy feel.
It takes a bit of practice to pitch the EOS 350 properly and the tension band system has a tendency to excessively pull the sides in, making it difficult to arc the poles properly without them bending inwards at the base. After a couple of pitches, however, adjusting the side tensioners becomes second nature and a solid shape can be achieved. Internally the bedroom clips simply into place, filling one half of the tent while the porch provides plenty of room for sitting and socialising and comes with a seperate ground sheet.
With a hydrostatic head of just 3000mm it's not the highest spec material, but this is a tent designed for use from the car, not the rucksack, and for campsites which generally provide more shelter than a wild camp location. Take into account the price and you'll find it hard to find more space and as reliable a build quality for your money.
